Ger­man Par­lia­ment voted for the Exten­si­on of the Namespace

The par­ties of CDU/CSD, SPD, and FDP voted on thurs­day, the 17th of Janu­ary for the „exten­si­on of the name­space on the inter­net”. With this vote the ger­ma­ny govern­ment is reques­ted to speak for the fur­ther deve­lo­p­ment of the Inter­nets name­space. We app­re­cia­te that the ger­man par­lia­ment reco­gni­zed the poten­ti­al of regio­nal and local Top Level Domains.
