ICANN’s neuer CEO Rod Beckstöm findet eine .berlin Top-Level-Domain (dotberlin) sinnvoll, sagte er mir auf dem ICANN Meeting in Sydney im persönlichen Gespräch.
Von daher wundert es nicht, wenn .berlin in seiner ersten Pressemitteilung genannt wird:
„New York City and the city of Berlin have expressed a similar interest in their own domain names. It is impossible to imagine the possibilities that could occur when these and a multitude of other TLDs are opened.”
